Need Energy Assistance!! 

We are a family of 5 and we need help paying our gas bill, so we can have heat and hot water. The past year has been a little difficult, mainly due to the higher prices of everything. We make decent money, probably more than most but we weren't able to keep up. The house we were living in last winter was very non-efficient and our heating bills were very high. Fortunately, we didn't need gas during the summer because the furnace was the only thing gas. Unfortunately, our electric bills during the past summer were just as high, due to the landlord not fixing the ac unit, (which ran nonstop to keep the house at 80 degrees) not allowing us to be able to pay anything on our gas bill as we usually do during the summer.
Now we are living in a more efficient house but the gas company is requiring us to pay at least half of our bill, ($431), which we don't have. We of course make too much to qualify for any state, federal, community help. This is why we are asking for some assistance here. As soon as we have the amount stated above to turn on our gas, I will cancel this ad and politely thank anyone else who responds. We promise we are not out to scam anyone for undeserved money and we are not asking for the full amount of the bill, only what they are requiring us to pay. I will be happy to send a copy of our bill from MGE to anyone interested in helping us to prove what I am asking. Any amount will help. Email me for more information

Mother of 4 & Grandma of 3 in need of x-mas help

Hi. I am a mother and grandma in need of help this year for x-mas. Help me and 4 of my kids live in the same house with 3 of my grandchildren. 3 of us have lost our jobs and are looking for work. Again my son & son in law are working but we are barely making ends meet. My kids are 16G, 19G, 20B, and 21B. My grandchildren are 3 years old boy, 17 month girl and 16 month girl. We are not asking for much. Anything will be wonderful for Christmas this year. It has just been bad luck for us. This month my daughter just paid $1,400 for her car and the transmission just went out and I just spent $600 on repair for the front end of my van. Now I have to spend more money on getting the cars tags again because they expire at the end of this month and now we don't even know if we are going to have a thanksgiving dinner at home because our oven just went out and its the oven and microwave that is built into the wall so we are now trying to find someone who can repair it and hope it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix it.

It's Getting Cold I Need Your HELP

This is not a SCAM...I have a friend who is in need...she was divorced a few years ago when she was diagnosed with cancer, her husband didn't think he wanted to deal with the surgeries and chemo, and all that cr** as he put it. Anyway she has been living in assisted housing for the past year as she recovered from losing her breasts and having a 7 pound cancerous tumor removed from her ovaries. She has recently bought a home and is planning on moving on Nov. 16th with her two children. Here is the problem, when we called last week to set up gas service, she was told that there was an existing bill of $2,000.00 from when she and her husband were married and this needs to be paid before service will be hooked up. She was not aware of this as he maintained all finances for the family. This is not a scam, if you would like to help, e-mail me and I will give you the # for the gas energy company, or you can look it up to make sure it is real # and i will give you her account # so you could make a payment directly. We have informed management that hopefully pledges will come in and they are allowed to give out minimal information to prove the validity of this request. Thank you to a local hospital cancer center for their donation. Management is also informed that when goal is met to stop taking donations or to refer donators to other families accounts that are in need. Thank you and God Bless.
