As Christmas is approaching and the economy is not as good as it used to be, more and more people are asking where to find help for Christmas. Many working parents, grandparents, single parents, and those who are unemployed need help with Christmas to give their children the joy they still believe in. Besides the Salvation Army Christmas Help, there are also the Toys for Tots, Social Services Centers and local nonprofit organizations that will offer help around Christmas time. The Marines, the Red Cross and local churches often have programs to raise funds to help needy families with Christmas. Look locally for nonprofit organization around where you live or in your city. |
If they don't have a Christmas help program, they can often refer you to Christmas help organizations. But, you need to seek Christmas help well in advance. By December, all the Christmas help organizations are often too overwhelmed with Christmas help requests to talk to any later comers.
