Help for Christmas for children is the most common form of help wanted around Christmas time. With so many parents under stress to pay bills and other expenses, parents are struggling to afford toys and presents for their children. Parents need to ask for help for Christmas for their children so that their kids won't wake up on Christmas morning with no toys or gifts under the Christmas tree. While adults and grown ups can understand that sometimes when money is tight, there will be no gifts for Christmas, children who believe in Santa and the spirit of Christmas have yet to learn that lesson.

I am a mother of three. I am on a fixed income. My kids do not want gifts this year. All they want is to stay in their home. We have to make 2 1/2 house payments. That means we need $ 2,900 dollars by Friday to keep the house from selling on 12/31. I cannot get a title loan or even a payday loan. We have the first $ 1,000 so if anyone can help please call me. We have nowhere else to go. How sad another family homeless. When a few $$$ can prevent it. May God bless you. I have a minivan i will gladly sell to get the money.

Please Help

I am in need of some financial assistance for my daughter she has 4 beautiful kids 2 boys ages 11 & 3 and two girls ages 6 & 1. She is a single parent who couldn't afford to buy any gifts for the kids so I played Santa and helped with toys and clothes but now her lights and gas plus others are about to disconnect.

I cant help since I have done all I can. Is there an angel out there who may be able to help her? She will greatly appreciate it - thank you and happy holidays.

Mom & son need Christmas help! outta work. please help us!

My son and I need help this year for Christmas. I need clothing (womens sizes xl tops. pants xl size in sweatpants only), socks, gloves and hat any color is ok, brush set (because I don't have a brush set), warm blankets, a toy for my grand daughter to give her for Christmas, she has autism so need something noisy. Please let me know what you have. I can pay a little cash but not much. thank you and god bless you.

There are many families that need help at Christmas time. For families that need help at Christmas who realize their situations fast enough and are accepted by the Christmas Help Organizations, they will be able to give their kids a Christmas. People need help at Christmas for different purposes. Some need help with just Christmas gifts for their children, some need help with Christmas Decorations or even a Christmas tree. While some families really have needs because of their unexpected hard times, other families want unnecessary toys to spoil their kids with.

Who need help at Christmas?

Below is an ad from a family that needs help at Christmas beyond just toys for their children to make them still believe in Santa.

"I am a single mother of 3 beautiful children and I have finally made myself ask for help. I will not post my whole situation on here for the world to see, but I am asking for help somehow. My bills are behind, Christmas this year I try not to even think about. The closer it gets the more I stress. I'm getting close to losing my job if I keep missing work, so I missed out on the Christmas help this year, I am trying to get help to pay the gas and electric bills, but I work the hours they are open and the one day I was off the office was closed. My gas is scheduled to be shut off on the 15 and my electric on the 20th. If there is an angel out there that can help me and my children out, I would be forever grateful. I can explain the situation and why things are so hard right now more in detail for those who respond, if any. Thanks to all who respond and those that wish they could help, but just cant. Believe me I sit on here and read those that are in need of help and wish I could help them out. Happy holidays to all."

For this family, the single mother has fallen behind with her bills because of bad situations and events that happened to her. She has struggled for a while but has been in denial so she never spoke up and ask for help early. By the time she asked for help, all the Christmas help organizations turned her down because she is just too late applying for Christmas help. Her gas is about to be shut off and her electricity too. What will she and her kids do in the Winter when it is freezing cold and the house has no gas or electricity?

Most people who need help at Christmas have kind heart. They themselves feel the pain upon them and would in turn help others in the same situation if they could. However, they often cannot. Each year, Christmas is as painful to them as this year.

However, there is another side of the story of people who need help at Christmas. Some people post ads and cry for help at Christmas when they could themselves work and earn money. Some of them aren't in bad situation at all. Some families have so many toys that the kids are so spoiled that they want more expensive toys and what do parents do? They post ads for Christmas help. When this happens, it dampens the significance of people who really need help at Christmas for gas, food, shelter, electricity, or clothes.
